Loretta Gardner

Loretta Lynn Gardner, 59, of Port Huron went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 28, 2026 after a brave fight with cancer.

She was born April 21, 1966 in Port Huron. Loretta was employed as a press operator for many years. She loved animals and was an active member of Port Huron Assembly of God Church. She was a friend to all and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by a host of relatives. She cherished a friendship of more than 36 years with Dana DeFrain, and after the passing of her mother, became a beloved member of Dana’s extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Yvonne Gardner; and aunt, Phyllis Bartley, whom she cared for very deeply.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Port Huron Assembly of God Church, 835 River St., with visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. The Reverend Joseph Sazyc will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
