Joseph E "Joe" Condland

Joseph Edward Condland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 7, 1965 in Sarnia, Canada to the late Teddy and Marjorie Condland. He married Shelly DeLand in 1998.

Joe spent his life devoted to the people around him and the simple joys that meant the most to him. He loved spending time with his family, listening to his music, making moonshine, and fishing. Whether he was casting a line or sharing stories, Joe found happiness in life’s quiet, meaningful moments.

Above all, Joe was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a deeply cherished papa. His family was his greatest accomplishment and his greatest joy. He will be remembered for his love, his strength, and the way he brought people together.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Shelly Condland; his children, Joseph Hillman, Courtney (Russell) Tenbusch, and Caitlin Condland; his brother, Michael Condland; and his treasured granddaughter, Kaylyn Hillman.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

In accordance with Joe’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. A memorial event to celebrate his life will take place at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 2645 Howard St., Port Huron, MI 48060 on April 3rd from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
