Angelina M Hernandez

Angelina Margarita Hernandez, 70, of Port Huron passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

She was born March 23, 1956 to the late Jesus and Victoria Hernandez.

Angelina was a strong woman with an equally strong will, she embraced new challenges, returning to work in her 50s to earn her associate’s degree in early childhood development. She went on to dedicate many years to working in early childhood learning at M-Tech at St. Clair County Community College.

She was incredibly crafty, a master of crochet who created countless handmade gifts that will be cherished by family and friends for years to come. Angelina enjoyed reading, working on puzzles, and having her nails painted by her granddaughters Arianna or Evangelina “Evie”. She loved her children unconditionally and her generosity was truly unmatched. Always poised and elegant, Angelina carried herself with a sense of class.

She is survived by her children, Laticia Tatianna Hernandez, Juan Jose Sembrano and Idalynn “Lindsey” Baugh; grandchildren, Jeffrey Jared Alexander Lavere, Summer Rain Lavere, Juan Diego Sembrano, Alicia Marie Sembrano, Carla Marie Goulet and D’Angelo Gomez; great grandchildren, Arianna Lynn VanNorman, Evangelina Celedia-layne Mitchell, Ayden, River Joseph Tatsak; siblings, Jesus (Mary) Hernandez, Oralia Hernandez, Abraham (Linda) Hernandez, Daniel (Donna Lee) Hernandez; sister-in-law Shelly Hernandez; many beloved nieces and nephews, including Amber (Dionte) Worthem, Robert (Brittney) Oliver, Justin (Jessica) Oliver, James (Mae) Hernandez, Tyler Hernandez and Pedro “Sam” Hernandez; and cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by siblings, Rosa Roution, Victoria Anna Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez, and Ida Rachel Leach.

Private family services will be held.
