Michael K "Mike" Huber

Michael K. “Mike” Huber”, 71, of Kimball Township, died Saturday, April 18, 2026.

He was born February 28, 1955 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to the late Hubert and Margeret Huber. He married Patty Williams on March 10, 1979 in Lincoln Park.

Michael worked as a truck driver several years before his career in store management with Lowe’s. He was a true hobbyist who enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing hockey, building model airplanes, spending time at the cottage, and maple syrup. Above all, Mike cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and new great grandson. He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force, was past Post Commander of the American Legion Post 217 in Wyandotte and was an active member of its honor guard. He also belonged to the American Legion Riders, a dedicated motorcycle group that supports military families.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patty; children, Tanya (Gerard) Rohrer, Michael “Shaun” Huber, Michelle (Joseph) McCulloch and Nicole Huber (Ryan Robinett); grandchildren, Hannah Lawson, Emma Dotson, Isabela Dotson, Camden McCulloch and Cade McCulloch; great grandson, Hudson Sherman; siblings, Patrice (Dennis) Edwards, Daniel Huber and Mark (Darla) Huber; and many other family and friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary and Shawna.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Timothy McCulloch will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the Wyandotte American Legion Honor Guard.

Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
