Judith F Mattson

Judith Faye Mattson, 84, of Clyde Township, died Thursday, April 23, 2026.

She was born March 29, 1942 in Shrewsbury, West Virginia to the late Eugene and Laura Stallard. She married Robert R. Mattson on May 11, 1968 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on September 4, 2022 after 54 years of marriage.

Judith graduated from Marysville High School and the SC4 Nursing Program. She was employed as a Nurse at Port Huron Hospital for 20 years and also owned a quilting business. Judith enjoyed camping, boating and going on quilt retreats with her friends. She was a member of the Port Huron Sail and Power Squadron.

She is survived by six children, Jennifer (Rod) Shagena, Eric (Heather) Mattson and Kristi (Paul) Ghekiere, Mark (Joy) Mattson, Laura McNamara (Curt Rogers) and Julie (Joe) Sangster; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Kyra Schultz and Sally Noble; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Stallard.

Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Ruby Cemetery.
