Susan K. Madden

Susan K. Madden, 79, of Burtchville, died Thursday, April 30, 2026.

She was born September 22, 1946 in Port Huron. She married Tom Madden in 1981 in Port Huron.

Susan worked in the billing department at Providence Hospital for many years before her retirement. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching Alaskan reality shows and the Detroit Tigers and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thomas; three children, Tracy (Mike) Cedar, David Todd Wilson and Christopher (Gretchen) Madden; four grandchildren, Brandi (Shane), Sean, Garrett and Maya; three great grandchildren, Ashton, Weston and Remi; and siblings, Lynn Nihls, Bette (Bruce) Hellmuth, Ron (Margo) Carmichael, Lee (Margaret) Pickelhaupt, Neil (Debbie) Pickelhaupt, Ava Gotautas and Diane (Jim) Schneider. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Pickelhaupt; mother, Leona Schmude; and stepfather, Ray Carmichael.

Private family services will be held.
