Michael Genaw

Michael James Genaw, 64, of Port Huron, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

He was born on December 16, 1961 in Port Huron to the late Eugene and Patsy Genaw.

Michael was a graduate of Port Huron High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for four years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, and coached little league for several years.

He is survived by his daughter, Leslie (Keith) Belyea; three grandchildren, Alex, Jack and Claire; one great granddaughter, Evelyn; along with several close friends. Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot Township. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army.
