Alice J Garcia

Alice Joyce Garcia, 97, of Port Huron, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026 after a brief illness, surrounded by her family.

She was born May 11, 1928 in Croswell, Michigan to the late William and Myra Kearns Parker. She married Joseph S. Garcia on January 2, 1954 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2012 after 58 years of marriage.

Alice found great joy in caring for her beautiful flowers in her yard, especially when church friends and family came by to admire them. In her spare time, she loved working on puzzles and kept Amazon in business by having puzzles delivered each week. She worked on puzzles ranging from 300 to 1,000 pieces, often leaving them displayed on her table for all to enjoy before eventually taking them apart. Alice always loved when people stopped by to visit, especially her nieces, Debbie, Linda and Sue.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph (Linda) and Anthony (Bonnie) Garcia; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special cousin, Joan, who she loved visiting with. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Grace; three brothers, Erwin, Lowell and Richard; and sister, Delores.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Friday, May 8, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Roxie Davis will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
