Katherine R "Kathy" Eagle

Katherine Ruth “Kathy” Eagle, 75, of Kimball Township, died Sunday, May 24, 2026.

She was born July 23, 1950 in Port Huron to the late George and Margaret Kenner. She married Larry Eagle on March 16, 1974 in Sparlingville Wesleyan Church.

Kathy was a 1969 graduate of Port Huron High School. A nurturer at heart, she was loving, thoughtful, protective, and deeply devoted to the Lord. She had a caring nature that made everyone around her feel welcomed and supported. Katherine enjoyed playing cards and watching her favorite shows, including Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, and Little House on the Prairie. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.

She spent 10 years selling cell phones, worked as a lunch aide at Garfield School and babysat for many family members and friends. Kathy gave generously of her time as a big sister, always caring for others as if they were family. Above all, she was an incredible homemaker and mother, not only to her own children, but also to their friends, who lovingly viewed her as a second mom.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry; son, John (Carol) Eagle; son-in-law, John Mullally; siblings, Patricia (Darryl) Smith, Gayle Kenner, Patrick L.D. Kenner, Debra Kenner (Dan Lambert), Linda Kenner and Dorothy “Susie” Kenner; and many nieces, nephews and cousins; and best friends, Laurie Weaver, Florence Minke, Vicki Smith and Helen Spooner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jean Mullally; siblings, William, Rodger, George and Charles Kenner, Christine Kenner and Dawn Kenner-Lambert; in-laws, Alberta and Rayford Eagle; brothers-in-law, Tom, Dale and Dennis Richard Eagle; sister-in-law, Susan Kenner; and grandparents, Lewis and Anna Rock.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, May 29, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Shaun Laurain will officiate.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery.
