Marion L Lyons

Marion Louise Lyons, 89, of Fort Gratiot, died Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

She was born April 28, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Roy and Kathleen Lyons. Marion graduated from Port Huron High School and then worked for A&P for many years prior to her retirement. Marion was a longtime member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. She was a gifted organist, loved “getting her steps in” walking around the neighborhood, enjoyed working in her yard, and was a talented artist.

Marion is survived by three nieces, Jeri Lynn Leonard (MSgt Robert Leonard, USAF, Ret.), Kathleen Hepburn and Kimberly Coco; 8 great nieces and nephews; 9 great great nieces and nephews; several cousins; and a very special friend, Carole Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her sister, B. Jane Wisson (MSgt Theodore M. Wisson, USAF, Ret.); two nephews, Sgt Theodore Wisson and Nick Wisson; nephews-in-law, John Coco and SMSgt Ronald Hepburn, USAF, Ret.; and a great nephew, John Leonard.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:30 noon. Dr. Roxie Davis will officiate. A livestream of the service will be available on Marion’s obituary page of the funeral home website.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron, followed by a meal.

Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
