Lyle O Stevens

Lyle Oden Stevens, 87, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

He was born November 11, 1938 in Port Huron to the late Henry and Averil Stevens. He married Lenora J. Lehman on August 9, 1958 in Port Huron. She preceded him in death on November 19, 2025 after 67 years of marriage.

Lyle graduated from Port Huron High School in 1957 and honorably served in the U.S. Army while stationed in Germany. Lyle worked as a technician for SEMCO until his retirement and was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, puttering in the yard and garage, and most of all, spending time with his family. Lyle will be fondly remembered for the unique and mischievous birthday cards that he chose for family and friends.

He is survived by four children, Leonard Stevens, Theresa (Francis) Evenson, Barbara Stevens and Jane Stevens; nine grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and siblings, Doris Doss, Rosemary Hawley, and Glenn “Buzz” (Sandra) Stevens. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Leonard Stevens and Theresa Medrano Stevens; and a great grandson, Billy Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026 in Trinity Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be Lyle’s family. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
