Gloria J. Hunter

Gloria Jean Hunter, 86, of Port Huron Township, died Monday, June 1, 2026.

She was born December 30, 1939 in Port Huron to the late Albert and Leoata Tetreau. She married Dale G. Hunter I on February 21, 1958. He preceded her in death on October 24, 1983.

Gloria had a passion for cooking and baking, especially making cookies with her grandchildren. She loved playing dice and enjoyed crafts, including coloring, diamond art, ceramics and sewing. She was a member of the Marysville American Legion for many years. Above all, Gloria treasured time spent with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Gary Hunter and Dale Hunter (Kathy Suszycki); daughter, Gayle (Ron) Robb; grandchildren, Jay Robb, Ryan Robb and Lindsay Hunter; and beloved niece, Susan (Alex) Kopiwoda. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Sue Hunter; and sister, Marilyn (Phil) Levitte.

Private graveside services will be held in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be Dale Hunter III, Gary Hunter, Ronald Robb, Jay Robb and Ryan Robb.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
