Christine Cope
Christine Ann Cope, 67, of Kenockee Township, died Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
She was born January 13, 1959 in Port Huron to the late Gerald and Shirley Albert. She married Stanley L. “Bud” Cope Jr. on August 26, 1978 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on August 1, 2012 after 33 years of marriage.
Christine was a graduate of Port Huron Northern. She was a deeply caring and selfless woman who was a mother to many. She devoted many years to caring for Bud, and her grandchildren were the greatest joy of her life. She was especially proud to become a great-grandmother and cherished every moment with her first great-grandchild.
She is survived her daughter, Kady Cope; grandchildren, Tyler Gainer, Lohgan Gainer and Michael Cope; great grandson, Ryder; siblings, Dawn Robbins, Teri Schulte and Gerald Albert Jr.; nieces, Danielle Robbins and Kayla (Dale) Ainsworth; and other family and friends including her life long friend, Mary Jo Jobbitt, a constant source of love and support who selflessly cared for her in her final days. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Cope; son, Michael Cope; grandson, Carter Allen Gainer; brother, Robert Schulte; father and mother-in-law, Stanley Sr. and Dorothy M. Cope.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Shaun Laurain will officiate.
Burial will be in Ruby Cemetery, Clyde Township. Pallbearers will be Jason Hustek, Billy Cornacchia, Steve Lossing, Bob Dortman, Tyler Gainer, and Lohgan Gainer.
