Cynthia L Babb

Cynthia Lynn Babb, 76, of Marysville, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

She was born January 7, 1950 in Detroit to the late Peter and Germaine Feldman. She married Clark T. Babb, her one true love, on May 30, 1968 in Detroit.

Family was the center of Cynthia’s life and she was the glue that held everyone together. She was a wonderful mother and very involved in her boy’s activities and interests when they were young, and after they had families of their own, she loved gathering the whole group together. She and Clark spent some time traveling by 5th wheel after his retirement, and they enjoyed visiting family and friends out west. Most recently, she spent several years lovingly caring for her husband as he battled dementia.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clark T. Babb; two sons, Curtis (Kelly) Babb and Craig (Holly) Babb; four granddaughters, Lexi (Dallas) Lashbrook, Mackenzie Babb (Cody Lewis), Emma Babb (Isabel Mabry) and Lauryn Babb (Sam Bargas); a great granddaughter, Sophie Kelly-Anne Lashbrook; a brother, Peter (Ann) Feldman; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Clark Michael Babb.

A memorial service honoring Cynthia and Clark will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. A meal will follow the services. Shaun Laurain will officiate.
