Clark T Babb

Clark Thomas Babb, 77, of Marysville, died Tuesday, June 23, 2026 after a battle with dementia.

He was born April 21, 1949 in Detroit to the late Clark and Eleanor Babb. He married Cynthia Lynn Feldman, his first love, on May 30, 1968 in Detroit. She preceded him in death on June 16, 2026 after 57 years of marriage.

Clark graduated from Bishop Gallagher High School in 1967 and soon after went to work for Detroit Edison as a cable splicer, a job that he held for 43 years until his retirement. He was a lifelong outdoorsman who loved camping, canoeing, deer hunting, and especially bird hunting. Family was very important to Clark and he loved spending time with his wife, sons and granddaughters.

He is survived by two sons, Curtis (Kelly) Babb and Craig (Holly) Babb; four granddaughters, Lexi (Dallas) Lashbrook, Mackenzie Babb (Cody Lewis), Emma Babb (Isabel Mabry) and Lauryn Babb (Sam Bargas); a great granddaughter, Sophie Kelly-Anne Lashbrook; three siblings, Ronald (Barbara) Babb, Debra Babb and Patricia (Jim) Coy; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Clark Michael Babb.

A memorial service honoring Clark and Cynthia will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. A meal will follow the services. Shaun Laurain will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Diabetes Association.
