Michelle Burtch-DeWitt

Michelle Burtch-DeWitt, 54, of Port Huron, died Saturday, June 27, 2026.

She was born August 7, 1971 in Port Huron to Sharon and the late Edward Burtch. She married Roy DeWitt on November 15, 2014 in Port Huron.

Michelle worked as a cashier for Dollar Tree in Fort Gratiot and previously was employed in inventory control for Walmart. She enjoyed spending time with her family, but her greatest joy was being with her husband, celebrating their anniversaries with special vacations.

She is survived by her husband, Roy; children, Kaslen Ellis, Christian DeWitt, Joshua DeWitt, Natasha (Noah) DeWitt and Ray DeWitt; grandchildren, Elika, Aurora, Bellamy, Tobias and Mabel; her mother, Sharon Schultz; sisters, Vicki (Tom) Lasher and Elizabeth (Andrew) Lacy; brother, Charlie Smith; and special friend and “sister”, Bobbie McCallum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashlee Nedrow.

Stories, memories and refreshments will be shared at a block party in Michelle’s neighborhood from Noon to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
