Myrna Kay Kitchen, 83, of Kimball Township, died Friday, June 26, 2026.

She was born November 3, 1942 in Brown City to the late Hubert and Mildred Clink. She married Donald Lee Kitchen on June 22, 1991 in Port Huron.

Myrna was employed with the Port Huron Area School District, where she was a bus driver for thirteen years and a clerical assistant for seven years. She then worked for American Tape for nineteen years before her retirement in 2005. She enjoyed camping trips and riding her bicycle and especially cherished time spent with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Donald; two sons, Chad (Nancy) Desero and Michael (Cheryl) Kitchen; daughter-in-law, Tracy Wright; grandchildren, Cody Desero (Britni Bowles), Nichole (Evan) King, Caitlyn Desero (Jordan Garijo), Zane Kitchen, Erica Wright (Broc Storms), David (Kaelei) Wright; great-grandchildren, Grace, Charleston, Mackenzie, Everett, Avieann and Weslie; sister, Brenda Wheatley; in-laws, Barb Desero, David (Debbie) Kitchen and Kathy (Butch) Purdie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by sons, Duane Desero and Timothy Wright; and granddaughter, Dakota Kitchen.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, July 2, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Drew Hart will officiate.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Pallbearers will be Marc Desero, Brian Wheatley, Cody Desero, Jordan Garijo, David Wright and Zane Kitchen.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Home Care and Hospice.
