James D Langolf

James David Langolf, 61, of Clyde Township, died Sunday, June 28, 2026.

He was born September 26, 1964 in Port Huron to the late Alexander and Alice Langolf.

Jim was a 1982 graduate of Port Huron High School and then served in the United States Army. He was employed with the United States Postal Service for 38 years before his retirement in September 2024. He was a member of V.F.W. Charles Schoor Post #796.

He is survived by three children, Eric (Maryann) Langolf, Jessica Langolf (James Muto) and Daniel Von DerGruen; two brothers, Hal and Andy Langolf; and sister, Brenda Michaud Zetelski.

Private family services will be held with military honors under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Inurnment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army.
