Devin D Dinkins

Devin DeMarr Dinkins, 47, of Port Huron, made his peaceful departure on Monday, July 6, 2026.

He was born May 17, 1979 in Port Huron to the late Carlos Spigner and Doreen Dinkins and brought an undeniable spark, intelligence and warmth into the world from the very beginning.

Devin was a proud graduate of Port Huron High School, went on to further his education at Ferris State University, and later enlisted into the U.S. Army. Known for his sharp mind, Devin was incredibly intelligent, deeply caring, and fiercely loving. He had a passion for football and basketball, but perhaps his favorite pastime was a good debate. Devin loved to debate about absolutely EVERYTHING -and in true Devin fashion, he was famously "never wrong." His quick wit, humor, and brilliant arguments will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of going back and forth with him.

Above all else, Devin loved his family and friends. His greatest joy in life, and what he cherished with all of his heart, were his children. Devin leaves behind a rich legacy of love and beautiful memories.

He is survived and mourned by his children, Justin Hibbard, Jordan Dinkins, Jasmine Dinkins, and Jaylen Dinkins; brother, Carlos (Melissa) Ellis; sisters, Donneita and Daysha Woodley; aunts, Sanita Woods, Marcy (Michael) Angell, Jaqueline Spigner, Jennifer (William) Hayden and Rhonda Noble - whom he shared the special bond of talking to every single day; uncles, Raymond Woods and Douglas Spigner; cousins (who were truly more like brothers and sisters), Marky Noble, Darcy Noble, Trella Lee, LaShay Phillips, Daphne Noble, Eugene McCain and Kelsey Noble; godsister, Shantoria Davis; and a host of extended family members, lifelong friends, and neighbors, whose lives were made brighter just by knowing him. Devin was preceded in death and has been reunited in rest with his beloved parents.

Services will be announced and burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.

His love, laughter, and unbreakable spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and all who loved him. "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear."
