Anita L Jemison

Anita Louise Jemison, 84, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

She was born December 11, 1941 in Port Huron to the late Vernon and Catherine Meadows. She married Charlie J. Jemison on September 1, 1962 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2021.

Anita was employed with K-Mart for many years prior to her retirement in 2003. She enjoyed bowling and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most of all, she loved the Lord and was a longtime member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her son, Charles Jemison; daughters, Cathleen Jemison and Lori Ann (Marlon) McMillian; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and many friends including, Sheryl Burton, Ida Kidd, Thelma Jean Spigner and Savalia Rivers. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Jemison; great grandson, John Lee Schef; sisters, Katherine, AnnaMae, Elizabeth and Geneva; and brothers, Vernon, Ernest, Robert and Frederick.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend David Nichols will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
