Barbara A. Ott, 86, of Marysville, died Thursday, June 14, 2012.
She was born August 10, 1925 in Port Huron to the late William and Cora Hubble. She married Edward F. Ott on September 7, 1946 in Port Huron. He died March 3, 1964.
Mrs. Ott was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, the Rosary Altar Society and the League of Catholic Women. She was the secretary for St. Clair Township for several years.
She is survived by four children, Linda (David) Osgood, Edward (Barbara) Ott III, Mary (Ronald) Huston and Karl Ott; eight grandchildren, David Osgood Jr., Daniel Osgood, Matthew (Monica) Osgood, Jessica (Tad) Dowker, Karl (Kandyce) Ott, Nicholas Huston, Kelly Huston and Cassandra Huston; eight great grandchildren, Mason Dowker, Dustin, Kylan, Keean, Lauren, Noah, Mina and Lillith Osgood; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Cain and Anne (Donald) Fisher; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, J. Kenneth, Rev. Karl and William Hubble; and a sister, Charlotte Teahan.
Visitation will be 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Saturday in Marysville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ott will lie in state from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2012 in St. Christopher Catholic Church, Marysville. The Reverend Arthur Baranowski will officiate.
The Rite of Committal will follow in Riverlawn Cemetery.
