William A Sass

William Albert Sass, 63, of Avoca, died Friday, July 24, 2026.

He was born August 14, 1962 in New York City to the late Jean and Ernst Sass Jr.

William served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed at several area nursing homes until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; three children, Rachel Sass, James (Sarah) Sass and Elaina Land; two grandsons, Cody Sass and Jace Sass; and brother, Thomas (Kimberly) Sass. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marlies Sass.

Services will be held at a later date.
