Dennis J Loftus

Dennis John Loftus, 78, of Chesterfield, formerly of Mt. Clemens died Saturday, July 25, 2026.

He was born June 14, 1948 in Detroit to the late Betty and John Loftus Jr.

Dennis served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was employed at Kroger for many years before his retirement.

He is survived by three siblings, Patrick (Nancy) Loftus, Susan Loftus and William Loftus; sister-in-law, Gayle Loftus; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Loftus.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2026 in the Marysville Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
