Francis W "Frank" Smalldon

Frank William Smalldon, 72, of Port Huron, died Saturday, July 25, 2026.

He was born October 25, 1953 in St. Clair to the late Francis L. and Alberta Smalldon.

Frank was a welder and line inspector with the Grand Trunk Western Railroad for many years. He enjoyed boating and going fishing, especially with his father and friends. Frank was a dog lover, and gifted in the areas of technology, computers, welding, and mechanics. He was also a talented musician, playing in several bands over the years including United Sound Revised and Rock-a-Billy Express.

He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly N. Smalldon-Louks (Brian W. Louks II); granddaughter, Jade N. Louks; two sisters, Charlene (Russel) Anglebrandt and Cheryl (Robert J.) Kinney; several nieces and nephews; and longtime-friend, Rebecca Jefferson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Franklin Benjamin Smalldon.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral with visitation beginning at 12 noon. The Reverend Tim Anderson will officiate.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township.
