Karon M Walker

Karon Marie Walker, 79, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 1, 2026.

She was born July 1, 1947, in River Rouge to the late Ulysses and Marie Jones.

Karon was employed at Kmart for many years. She enjoyed knitting scarves, eating ice cream, and taking walks along the river; she also enjoyed cooking and playing cards.

She leaves to mourn her passing four children: Sharron Stewart, Sam (Bree) Stewart, Keith (Tanika) Walker, and Kenny Walker; grandchildren: Ebonee Stewart, Sam Stewart III, Tevin Stewart, Travis Stewart, Bishop Walker, Keila Walker, Justin Tate, and Brooklyn Bankston; sisters: Sharon Gardner (twin), Deloris Jones, Susan White, and Kim Jones; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Gilbert Jones, David Jones, Eugene Jones, and Paul Jones.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Restoration Christian Community Church (RC3). The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., officiated by The Reverend Todd Lee. Burial will take place afterward in Lakeside Cemetery. A repass will be held at Restoration Christian Community Church immediately following the burial.
