Randolph L "Randy" Moore

Randolph Leonard “Randy” Moore, 76, of Burtchville Township, passed peacefully Thursday, August 20, 2026 after a long battle with COPD.

He was born January 19, 1950 in Port Huron to the late Leonard and Alberta Moore. He married Krista Fischbach on August 9, 1997 in Lexington.

Randy was a 1968 graduate of Port Huron High School and attended Michigan State University. He was employed as an estimator with Mortimer Lumber for many years. He was a devoted fan of the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed swimming and playing ice hockey and basketball. Randy loved the beach, sailboats and lighthouses. A big music fan, his favorite band was the Eagles.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Krista; son, Michael C. Moore; granddaughter, Kala Moore; brother, Brian (Robin) Moore; sister-in-law, Connie Moore; brother-in-law, Rob Burleson; nieces and nephews, Jake Moore, Melissa Moore, Patrick Moore, Justine (Brandon) Robinson and Austin Burleson; great niece, Hanna Robinson; and great nephew, Alex Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Moore.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. Pastor Ben Moses of Griswold Street Baptist Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Hicks Cemetery, Battle Creek. Pallbearers will be Brian Moore, Rob Burleson, Jeff Black, Doug Black, George Grady and Bob Nicoli.
