Ashley Kilbourne

The family of Ashley Kilbourne age 36, formerly of Port Huron is deeply saddened to announce her passing on Saturday August 29, 2026 as a result of being tragically struck and killed by a drunk driver in California.

Ashley was the beloved daughter of Angela Campbell and Michael Munn, born on July 8, 1990 in Port Huron. After leaving high school early, she completed her General Education Development certificate while attending SC4.

Ashley leaves to mourn her passing the absolute loves of her life and her greatest joy; Kassidy Nichols, Anaiah Edwards, Keighley Kilbourne, Breanna, Brian Jr. and Carter Williams; her parents; siblings, Meiyah Brenton, Christian Munn, and Autumn Munn; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mikey Munn; and grandmothers Sherry Swinson and Doris Munn; and grandfather William Brenton.

Ashley had recently moved to California to start a new chapter in her life. She was working hard to put personal struggles behind her. Those who loved her were cheering for her continued success. She was a reminder that it is never too late to begin again. Unfortunately, her earthly life was cut short but her memory still lives on.

She also loved tanning, spending time on the beach with her girls, playing volleyball, and enjoying a walk on the boardwalk with her mom.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday September 17, 2026 at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Pastor David Nichols will officiate. A dove release will then be held at the Blue Water Bridge Parkway.
