Howard Quant
Howard Quant Jr., 90, of Jeddo, died Friday, September 11, 2026.
He was born August 28, 1936 in Port Huron, to the late Howard and Hazel Quant Sr.
He attended Marysville High School. Howard proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was employed for many years as a truck driver with Ogden and Moffett Company and Yellow Trucking. He loved golfing, woodworking, going to the casino and cutting his grass. Howard was also an avid John Wayne fan.
Howard is survived by his three children, Howard “Joe” (Leslie) Quant, Kim Goyette and Debbie (Phil) Bodeis; longtime partner, Kathy Abate, and her daughters, Kathy Ward and Maria Poichonski; nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a daughter in law, Elizabeth Quant; and several nieces and nephews, including special niece, Judy (Don) Ellis; and special nephew, Jason (Katerina) Pelc. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Quant; and sisters, Virgina Wisswell, Emily Quant and Helen Salazer.
Cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
