Rosemary Moore

Rosemary Moore, 77, of Marysville, died Monday, September 21, 2026 in her home after a long illness.

She was born August 22, 1949 in Port Huron to the late Frederick M. and Anna E. Lomasney. She married Michael W. Moore on April 24, 1970 in Marysville and they shared 37 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on February 20, 2008.

Rosemary graduated from Port Huron Catholic High School in 1967 and then worked in the offices of several local companies including Michigan Bell, Mary Maxim and Wirtz Manufacturing. A born caregiver, Rosemary was proud to have been able to help both her parents and in-laws as they aged in their homes. She also enjoyed reading and trying her luck at the casino. Rosemary was a lifelong member of St. Christopher Catholic Church.

She is survived by her twin brother, Ronald Lomasney; two sisters, Mary (Victor) Roesch and Sharon Bowser; nieces and nephews, Gary Bowser, Ronald Bowser, Annie (Keith) Fischer, Rick (Ann Marie) Lomasney, Joe Roesch and Carrie (Mike) Liberty. In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by her son, Paul Moore; brother, Frederick Lomasney; and sister-in-law, Janet Lomasney.

Mrs. Moore will lie in state from 10:15 until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Reverend James Arwady will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.

Memorials to St. Christopher Catholic Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
