Shirley M Porter

Shirley Mae Porter, 89, of Port Huron Twp, died Monday, September 28, 2026.

She was born May 24, 1937 in Scottsbluff, NE to the late Henry and Lydia Meter. She married Donald Porter on February 2, 1956 in Trinity Lutheran Church.

Shirley was a graduate of Port Huron High School. She was employed at Michigan National Bank for over 20 years. Shirley was a member of Black River Boat Club. She loved camping and spending her winters in the Florida sun.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Donald; sons, David (Lori) and Brian Porter; grandchildren, Kayla Porter, Jordan and Nikolas Gougeon; many nieces and nephews; and a longtime family friend, Joe McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Lee Conant; and a sister, Patty Stiener.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted with Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. No services have been scheduled at this time.
