Betty Nill

Betty Simonet Nill, 86, of Port Huron Township, formerly of Port Richey, Florida, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 26, 2012 surrounded by her family.

She was born August 1, 1925 in Evans Mills, New York to the late Kenneth and Doris Simonet. She married Carl E. Nill on July 3, 1948 in Watertown, New York.

Mrs. Nill was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting and playing cards, especially bridge.

She is survived by her husband, Carl; two sons, Scott (Claudia) Nill of Port Huron and Bruce Nill of Davie, Florida; a daughter-in-law, Marie Nill of Boca Raton, Florida; and five grandchildren. Marissa, Laura, Ryan, Christopher and Steven Nill.

She was preceded in death by her son, Eric; and a sister, Jane.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 in Cornerstone Church, 4025 North Road, Clyde with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Peter Foxwell will officiate.

Memorials may be made to Bridge Builders Counseling & Mentoring.
