Marie A Debano

Marie Agnes Debano, 91, of Clinton Township, formerly of Marysville, died Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

She was born March 7, 1935 in Detroit, to the late Mark and Dora Gelineau. She married Michael C. Debano, Sr., on September 5, 1953 in Detroit. He preceded her in death on August 9, 2001 after 47 years of marriage.

Marie enjoyed her early years, raising and caring for her ten children. She later earned an associate degree in bookkeeping and spent many years working at Wertz Manufacturing.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Stan) Bulski, Laura (Donald) Powell, Jeanne (Mark) Palin, Annette (Joseph) Kinter III, Fr. Daniel Debano, Mark Debano Sr., Marjorie Biga, and Beth (Jason) Genovich; a daughter in law, Sharon Debano; 22 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sister, Janet Keating; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her children, Cheryl Debano and Michael Debano Jr.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2026 in Marysville Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026 in St. Christopher Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend James Arwady will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
