Dennis A MacPherson

Dennis Aubrey MacPherson, 86, of Marysville, died Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

He was born December 31, 1939 in Port Huron to the late John Aubrey and Lois Ann MacPherson.

Dennis proudly served in the United States Navy and was then employed with American Energy until his retirement in 2014. After 35 years of living in California, he was happy to return to his hometown of Marysville, where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In his younger years, Dennis was an avid card player who appreciated the excitement of a good hand.

He is survived by his sister, Bonnie Eberly; his brother, Terrence (Barbara) MacPherson; nieces, Heidi (Mike) Zeile, Terri (Tony) Gitts and Kristi Eberly; nephews, Scott Austin (Michelle) MacPherson and Stephen (Brigette) MacPherson; several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and special friends, Richard Austin, Robert Austin, The Goodin Boys, and Larry (Dana) Westphal.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jim Eberly.

Visitation will be held in the Marysville Funeral Home on Sunday, November 8, 2026 from 2-4 p.m

Military honors and a time of sharing will follow the visitation at 4 p.m. They will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Navy and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Water Humaine Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
