Arthur G "Joe" Stroh

Arthur George "Joe" Stroh, 85, of Burtchville Township, died Monday, August 20, 2012.

He was born February 7, 1927 in Kimball Township to the late Henry and Delilah Stroh.

Mr. Stroh retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1968 after 30 years of service and later worked in security for St. Clair County. He enjoyed fishing and Tiger baseball and was a fan of "The Young and the Restless."

He is survived by his children, Pam, Bruce, Melody, Delilah, Wayne, Debbie, Eugene, Kelly and Peggy; several grandchildren, including Ryan Stroh; and great grandchildren; and a special friend, Curtis Hunt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth, in 2004; and a daughter, Karen, in 1996.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Thursday, August 23, 2012 in First Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Keith Sparks will officiate.
