Glen Edwin Binsley, 83, of Marysville, died Sunday, September 23, 2012.
He was born December 19, 1928 in Lisbon, Ohio to the late Lloyd and Ruth Binsley. He married Doris Hurst on October 27, 1962 in Port Huron. She died October 7, 1993.
Mr. Binsley was employed as a Research Chemist for Diamond Crystal Salt Company and retired after 45 years of service. He served in occupied Japan during WWII in the U.S. Army. Glen enjoyed golfing and bowling.
He is survived by three children, Michael Binsley, Suzanne Binsley and Mary (Edward) Lago; and his brother, David (Carol) Binsley.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army.
Memorial contribution may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
