Lawrence L "Larry" Dane

Lawrence Lynne "Larry" Dane, 63, of Fort Gratiot, died Thursday, September 27, 2012.
He was born March 26, 1949 in Port Huron to the late Orel and Helen Dane. He married Linda Daly on July 28, 1972 in Lakeport.
Mr. Dane was a graduate of Cros-Lex High School and worked as a tool & die maker. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was an avid golfer and a member of Willow Ridge Golf Course. He also enjoyed fishing and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; two children, Nicole Dane of Biloxi, Mississippi and Eric Dane of Boston, Massachusetts; two sisters, Patricia Campbell and Lydia (Bill) Fisher; three brothers, Orel (Jim) Dane, Douglas Dane and Joseph Dane; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Dane.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2 p.m. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
