Joshua A. Thames, 20, of Port Huron, died unexpectedly, Saturday, October 6, 2012.
He was born April 20, 1992 in Flint, Michigan and was attending S.C.C.C.C.
He enjoyed playing basketball and will be remembered by his friends and family as a confident and caring young man with great leadership qualities.
He is survived by his mother, Amy (William) Ringley; father, Johnny Thames; siblings, Johnny, Natasha, Torrey, Isaiah, Moses, Christina and Jeremiah Thames; grandparents, Myles (Elizabeth) Nurenberg and Golden Thames; best friends, Deonte Farmer, Donavan Schooler and Vanessa Curry; the Maze family; Lashaun Lewis; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 in Faith Christian Community Church. Pastor Kevin M. Totty Sr. will officiate.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate.
