Sharon Hudson

December 24th, 1941 to October 16th, 2012

Sharon E. Hudson, 70, of Port Huron, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, October 16, 2012.

She was born December 24, 1941 in Port Huron to the late John and Evelyn Nordgren. She married Allan Hudson on May 11, 1963 in Port Huron. He died August 8, 2010.

Mrs. Hudson was an accomplished organist and pianist her entire life. She was organist and Director of Music at Our Saviour Lutheran Church for over 50 years, where she encouraged many young music students to develop their talent. She also played piano for several community organizations, gave piano lessons, and was very active in local civic theater providing musical accompaniment. She will be dearly missed by her friends, family and the community.

She is survived by four children, Deborah (Ted) Hoffman, Gerald "Bill" Hudson, Christopher (Danielle) Hudson and Jennifer Hudson and fiance, David Creech; 15 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Gerald (Darlene) Nordgren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Eric Allen; and a granddaughter, Tiffany Hoffman.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2012 in Our Saviour Lutheran Church. The Reverend Donald Doerzbacher will officiate.
