Rosemarie Alice Hawley, 83, of Marysville, died Tuesday, October 24, 2012.
She was born January 19, 1929 in Marysville to the late Roy and Leona Prescott. She married Donald W. Hawley on June 27, 1947 in Marysville. He died July 10, 2009.
Mrs. Hawley was a very creative woman who enjoyed crocheting, crafts, knitting and her flowers. During the 1960’s she had a local radio show called “Ring around Rosie.”
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Kress; granddaughters, Stephanie (Paul) Betlinski and Brandy (Jose) Mendoza; great grandchildren, Devon and Bailey Betlinski, Rebecca and Briana Kress and Rose and Jose Mendoza Jr.; her sister, Wanda (John) Langolf; a brother-in-law, Gerald Hawley; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an aunt, Marie Edwards Welch; and two nieces, Sandy Hamilton and Candy Morton
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Her nephew, Roy Langolf, will officiate.
