Darwin Dale Dake, 76, of Port Huron, died Friday, November 2, 2012.
He was born September 12, 1936 in Fort Gratiot to the late George and Constance Dake. He married Lois Bowen in 1973. She died July 2, 2009.
Mr. Dake was a press operator with U.S. Manufacturing for over 30 years, retiring in 2001. He loved riding his moped and visiting neighbors.
He is survived by seven children, David Dake, Billie Jo Dake, Vicky Dake, Lisa Dake, Jerry Dake, Bobby Dake and Darwin Dale Dake, Jr.; several grandchildren, including Ricky Lee Ostrander Jr. and Bobby Dake; a sister, Linda (Wayne) Meyers; several nieces and nephews, including Little Wayne Meyers; many dear friends including, Robert Kilbourne, Guy Williams, Bill Stoner, Corky, Fred Smith, Sonja Kilbourne, Scott Frizzle, Peggy Arnold, Barb & Bob, Lynn and Edie, Kim & Mark and their family, Will, Patty and Pat; and wonderful doctor, Douglas A. Krause.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
