Orrin S Gulley
Orrin Smith Gulley Jr., 85, of Port Huron, died Monday, November 12, 2012.
He was born September 8, 1927 in Highland Park to the late Orrin S. and Elfreda Gulley Sr. He married Dona Hagerman on November 30, 1956 in Birmingham.
Mr. Gulley retired from the Chrysler Corporation after many years of service at the Huber Foundry. He was a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Engineering and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 56 years, Dona; three children, David (Maria Daversa) Gulley of Marion, Massachusetts, Karen (Alan) Goldman of Ada, Michigan, and Marty (Dr. Gary) James of Port Huron; and five grandchildren, Madison and Hannah Goldman, Morgan, Mackenzie and Garrett James.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2012 in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
Inurnment will be in the Allied Veterans Columbarium, Port Huron. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.
Memorials may be made to the University of Michigan Engineering Fund for student scholarships.
