Margaret E DeLuca
Margaret E." Margie" DeLuca, 89, of Fort Gratiot, died unexpectedly, Saturday, November 17, 2012.
She was born January 22, 1923 in Sanilac County to the late Alex and Marcella Feher. She married Martin M. DeLuca on January 9, 1943 in Deckerville. He died May 10, 2005.
Mrs. DeLuca was an industrial sewer for Marmac Industries and Aqua Air prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed vegetable gardening, tending her flowers, sewing, quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, James (Mary Jane) DeLuca; three daughters, Sharon DeLuca, Nancy (Greg) Klenner and Barbara (John) Lambert; seven grandchildren, James (Karen) DeLuca Jr., Joseph (Margaret) DeLuca, Andrew Klenner, Michael Klenner, Judy (Martin) Goschnick, Maria DeLuca and Laura (Michael) Sonntag; six great grandchildren, Kyle and Tyler Goschnick, Diego and Daniela DeLuca, Wyatt and Delilah Sonntag; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday evening.
Mrs. DeLuca will lie in state on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Reverend Brian K. Cokonougher will officiate.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
