Gloria Clarke
Gloria Ann (Stover) Clarke, 74, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 10, 2012.
She was born July 2, 1938 in Detroit to the late Frank and Helen Kalish. She married Reuben F. Clarke on May 8, 2004 in Port Huron.
Mrs. Clarke owned and operated Small Wonders Day Care for many years. She was very devoted to her family and her daycare children. She was a member of Hillside Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her husband, Reuben; three children, Jodi (Stephen) MacLean, Mark (Ben Spahr) Stover and Shawn (Melissa) Stover; daughter-in-law, Tricia Stover; seven grandchildren, Dylan and Kendra MacLean, Kevin, Elizabeth, Frank Jr., Jacob and Ava Stover; two brothers, Joseph (Sandy Sturdevan) Kalish and Frank (Jan) Kalish; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Stover; and two sons, Frank J. and John Stover.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday and 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in Hillside Wesleyan Church. The Reverend Nathan Neihof will officiate.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen and Dylan MacLean, Frank, Kevin and Jacob Stover, Ron Strilcov and Dan Solomon.
