William E McMillan

August 30th, 1924 to December 19th, 2012
William Emery "Stinky" McMillan Jr., 88, of Garfield Heights, Ohio, formerly of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 19, 2012.

He was born August 30, 1924 in Port Huron to the late William E. and Gustava McMillan Sr..

Mr. McMillan graduated from Port Huron High School in 1942 and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He attended Port Huron Business College and Cornell University and was a Golden Gloves Prize Boxer. He was employed at New Haven Foundry and retired from American Tape Company.

He is survived by his son, William C. McMillan; four grandchildren, Areiky Whitmore, Monique Freeman, Brittany McMillan and Dymond McMillan; four great grandchildren, Lenny, Aumar'e, Jevontae and Janiyah; two brothers, Arthur James McMillan and Carleton Rudolph McMillan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Geraldine McMillan; four sisters, Lena Mae Edwards, Mary Lillian Mitchell, Barbara Jean Williams and Kay Frances Faulkner; and three brothers, Charles Nathan McMillan, Ernest Lee McMillan and Edward McMillan.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation from 12:00 noon until the time of service. The Reverend Dr. Carl Miller will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
