William Hirons

William J. Hirons, 73, of Port Huron Township, passed away surrounded by his family and Pastor on Monday, December 24, 2012 in Port Huron Hospital.
He was born January 1, 1939 in Melvin to John and Evelyn Hirons. He married Beulah Jean Sealey on June 13, 1957 in Sandusky.
Mr. Hirons was employed with Dunn Paper Company for 30 years prior to his retirement in 1999. He was a member of the Black River Antique Tractor Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, drag racing, NASCAR, and snowmobiling. He was a Deacon at County Park Bible Church.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beulah; four children, Terry (Sunye) Hirons, Tami (Kurt) Kading, Thomas Hirons and Timothy (Holly) Hirons; eight grandchildren, Heather (Jason) Carrier, Kevin (Rachel) Hirons, Trisha (Pat) Harp, Jamie (Vic) Aulakh, Jessica (Terry) Hale, Sarah (Josh) Gray, Alexandria Hirons and Nicholas Hirons; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Sherry) Hirons and Burt (Deb) Hirons; five sisters, Elaine (Ray) Grimes, Vernita Crook, Sharon (Bob) Kalbfleisch, Mary (Lowell "Bub") Stafford and Linda (Al) Brian; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Evelyn Hirons; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Howard and Dorothy Sealey; sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Glenn Holbrook; and brother-in-law, Frank Crook.
Visitation will be 2- 4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Steve Sovereen will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Carrier, Kurt Kading, Patrick Harp, Joshua Gray, Reid Kerr, Collin Carrier and Kevin Hirons.
