Karl F. Falk, 80, of Marysville, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 with his family by his side after a long illness.
He was born January 6, 1932 in Smiths Creek to the late Herman and Eleanor Falk. He married Patricia Gavin on September 18, 1954 in Smiths Creek.
Mr. Falk was a skilled trade’s supervisor at Cross Company prior to his retirement. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and was always ready to lend a helping hand to his family. He was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia; three daughters, Judith (Dick) Rice, Susan (Joseph) Brisson and Terese Schultz; three grandchildren, Jessica (Joshua) Lents, Sarah Schultz and Ryan Brisson; a brother, Raymond Falk; sister, Linda (Charles) Younce; brother-in-law, Andrew Nelson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Nunn and Elaine Nelson.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday in the Marysville Funeral Home. A scripture service will be held at 7 p.m.in the funeral home.
Mr. Falk will lie in state in St. Christopher Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Arthur Baranowski will officiate.
Inurnment will be in the Riverlawn Columbarium. Memorials may be made to Marwood Manor or St. Christopher Catholic Church.
