Mary J Remick
Mary Janette Remick, 77, of Port Huron, entered her life of eternity on Thursday, January 10, 2013.
She was born November 7, 1935 in Port Huron to the late William and Emma Black. She married Charles F. Remick on August 2, 1952 in Port Huron.
Mary worked at Aunt Jane's in Croswell for 11 years. She was a lifetime member and three-time past president of the VFW 796 Auxiliary, a member of Blue Water Free Methodist Church and loved family euchre games. With other family members, she volunteered with the Old Newsboys.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles; four sons, Charles Jr., John, Kenneth (Donna) and Timothy (Kelly); three daughters, Deborah Womble, Michelle (Dick) Reynolds and Roxanne (Richard) Ball; ten grandchildren, Eric (Angie) Remick, Tara Womble, Jeremy Reynolds, Haily Reynolds, Richard Ball II, Joseph Ball, Matthew (Nissa) Wilson, Daniel (Nicole) Remick, Steven Remick and Megan Remick; nine great grandchildren plus one due next month, Jessica and Jenna Remick, Devon Reynolds, Madilynn Pace, Kyndra, Miriah and Kyrstin Wilson, Brayden and (Rayleigh) Remick and Macy Wigglesworth; two brothers, Russell (Janet) Black and William (Verna) Black; two sisters, Joyce Smerer and Jenny (Morris) Tack; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Robert and Clifford Black; three sisters, Charlotte Armstead, Beatrice Gillette and Lori McGregor; and a great grandson, Austin Reynolds.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Randy Bennett of Blue Water Free Methodist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Port Sanilac Cemetery. Mrs. Remick's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Free Methodist Church.
