Daphne W Askew
January 30th, 1927 to January 20th, 2013
Daphne W. Askew of Marysville, passed away from cancer on Sunday, January 20, 2013. Her husband, Don Askew, had passed away in July 2010 of cancer.
They had enjoyed sixty years of marriage and were well known in the Warner Bay area near Tobermory, Ontario, having a cabin there for over 50 years.
They shared their time between their beloved cabin and their condo in Marysville and had enjoyed many years of retirement. Don had been a supervisor in the Grand Trunk car shops; Daphne was an administrative assistant at Consumers Power.
They are survived by dear friends, Linda and Keith Marthen, Phyllis Thomas, Gerda Zehr and family; as well as Don's sister, Marion Burch of Brookville; and several nieces and nephews.
Their ashes will be buried together as they had wished.
