Robert M DeLine
Robert M. DeLine, 87, of Marysville, died Saturday, February 9, 2013.
He was born May 31, 1925 in Lapeer County to the late Charles and Ruth DeLine.
He married Mabel Lord on September 16, 1950 in Port Huron.
Mr. DeLine was employed with the Marysville School District as a custodial engineer prior to his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a member of the Marysville Assembly of God Church and Disabled American Veterans Chapter #12.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mabel; two children, Michael (Lucie) DeLine and Elizabeth DeLine all of Marysville; two grandchildren, Jessica DeLine and David (Tara) DeLine; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend James Turner of Marysville Assembly of God Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council. Memorials may be made to Marysville Assembly of God Church or Mid City Nutrition.
