Leo A Gram

February 13th, 1925 to March 2nd, 2013
Leo A. Gram, 88, of Burtchville Township, went home to be with his Lord Saturday, March 2, 2013.

He was born February 13, 1925 in Bayham, Ontario to the late Elmer and Velma Gram. They moved to Michigan in 1942. He married the love of his life, Pearl Holmes on January 29, 1943 in Port Huron.

Mr. Gram worked in the auto body repair industry for many years and opened Autocraft Body Shop in 1968. He loved working on and restoring cars, both old and new. He always said his favorite hobby was also his work. Even after retirement, he still enjoyed working on his cars. He was a member of the Blue Water Antique Car Club and loved going to and entering his cars in antique car shows. While winning awards was not important to him, he did receive many awards. His favorite car was his 1932 Oldsmobile. He loved his wife and family very much and enjoyed family times together. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Leo is survived by his wife of 69 years, Pearl; three sons, Robert (Nancy) Gram, William (Lynette) Gram and Bradley (Brenda) Gram; six grandchildren, Mike Gram, Jamie (Melanie) Gram, Stephanie (Stephen) Strowbridge, Keith Gram, Erin Gram and Kristin (Jason) Sheffer; five great grandchildren; a brother, William (Arlee) Gram and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Gram; daughter-in-law, Ruth Gram; two sisters, Audrey and Pearl and a brother, Erwin

Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Dan Bakey of First Baptist Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Research or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
